Any feedback on the mentioned tyre? Currently on ad08r but already looking forward to my next set of 4. Therefore seeking some reviews for personal consumption. I change 2 tyres RE in end march, did not know it was clear stock promo, wanted to change another 2 last week. Don't need to, i already paid full for those tires, i just tell them whoever wants that size they can sell to them first, when I'm ready then they order again.
Go for a smaller size, but I doubt I will experience that. Though I really wish to change but my current GR still have life left on them. So I don't mind waiting. It's a pretty quiet tire until you enter rough patches and it gets noises than the XM2. Side wall is much stiffer than XM2, doesn't slip much on metal gutters as compare to XM2. Overall I rate it higher than XM2. Pretty good cornering grip when I push real hard on bends too.
Just change this tyre Re at JB. Got a quite at RM for 4 plus alignment and balancing. Grip is good. Noise lvl still acceptable but not sure after km. I am comparing with my 15month old Michelin PS3. As for longevity, I think that, on current indications, they will be faster wearing than most competitors but that bothers me not at all as it's often the trade-off for a wet-grippy compound. Have you driven on the Bridgestone Adrenalin RE tyre? RE was a revelation after having been on the original GY Assurance that came with the car. It had loads of grip both in wet and dry from the very start compared with the GY.
It initially took about 3 trips back to the tyre shop for alignment and realignment to get the center tracking back inline due to a quirk in the initial setup when the GY was still on, after which it was fantastic to drive on. After 7k miles, the tyres did get slightly louder road noise and also started being a nail magnet. Had to change the tyres out as one of the patched nail holes that happened to be on the shoulder of the tyre started leaking badly and nothing could be done to get it to stop.
Overall, good tyres. However, wouldn't go back to it, as the nail magnetism was beyond my comfort zone. Very good handling on dry road, it give me more confidence during cornering especially when the tyre is slightly warm or hot.
Gripping power during cornering very good. For wet road I have less confidence with this tyre as I understeer a lot when cornering down genting hill.

That was lower mid range pricing in in Oz. By the time I got home I was surprised and impressed - they were much better than I expected. Bought another two within months.
Did maybe 50K on them in 18 months and bought a second set last year. I can't fault them in any area. I run 38 PSI and they complement the ageing Forester's balance and looseness well. Grip and feel are good and the wear is not high. I've driven several other foresters recently, other decent tyres just don't feel as confidence inspiring. I also drive a Mark 3 MX5, quite firmly, and am about to get res as the daily tyres.
In that application with more limit-seeking and front to rear pitching I can tell these tyres will not be all or nothing. I am sure there are others but these inexpensive tyres are now for me basically "The ones" - just about right.

Pretty good cornering grip when I push real hard on bends too. Tyres cannot go for cheap, Once you skid or jam brake and you missed hitting the car in front, you would have aleady gotten a good return for your investment. PS3 is not really quieter. The noise level stay high after maybe K mileage when the rubber harden. BTW I got this price is because Bridgestone giving Promo and fight the price against corky Michelin according to the workshop mech. I believe rea replace by Sonly make in japan and Europe, suppose to be the flagship of Potenza series for every day driving.

I've been on them for over 6 months and still have plenty of life in them. I feel these will last longer. They do seem to be noisier on the road but in a sports car that's hardly an issue. Even when cold they would give the average performance tyre a good run. Can be a little noisy on a daily driven car but longevity is certainly not too bad depending on the driver and can easily last 20,km on a set. Great for track days and general everyday driving. The only downfall with this tyre was the quick tyre wear. This is due to them being a semi-slick soft tyre compound. If you're after the best performance and aren't too worried about the wear then this is your tyre! To obtain mileage prorated adjustments, the customer needs to provide proof of original purchase for the claim tires s that states the vehicle mileage at the time of the original installation.
Additionally, the customer must provide proof that the tires have been rotated every 6, to 8, miles. This limited warranty provides for tire replacement under certain specified conditions.

Negative - Average feedback, high price, moderate lateral cornering. Overall - Nicely balanced on the Mazda, but poor reactions to large steering lock so not ideal for beginners.
The tyre doesn't overheat much, and allows for constant laptimes. A good wet performance means this tyre could be a good choice as an everyday tyre, but for the price you could get the Hankook for track and Continental for road.

The grip in the dry, mixed with the AWD from my Impreza is unbeatable, and it grips just as well in the wet, giving me massive confidence in the corners. They still look new after miles of use and aren't any louder than other tyres I've used. They are a premium brand tyre but don't cost as much as other makes, which is a bonus.
Would highly recommend to anyone. Hello I am from Athens Greece so average tarmac here unfortunately. I drive a Seat Leon mk1 1. On dry tarmac they give great handling and feedback on close turn roads and they offer great confidence - while on highways they are excellent offering great grip on high speeds and also on emergency brakes. On wet tarmac either on close turn roads or on highways you just cant find the tyre's limits ,so you drive more preservative.
Can't say anything more than best reviews here. I think the one word to describe these tyres is : confidence. Sometimes I test other tyres on this car when i want different grip, cause il like having fun at lower speed on this car.
I'm currently on my third set of AD08Rs. All 3 sets have been acquired at different stage's of life over the last 2 years so i'd assume my review on them should be fairly comprehensive for my use-case. For daily use: Honestly, a surprisingly well-behaved race-orientated tyre for the road. No real drama. It's perfectly acceptable in terms of conform and noise given i run pretty stiff coilovers and exhaust isn't exactly silent.
Ran RE Potenza's before this which is more of a road-bias performance tyre and i barely, if at all, notice any difference in comfort. Dry grip undoubtedly, is excessive for everyday road use. Trust me, i'll hardly ever have a lack of it in the dry. In the wet, they behave well too. When they're new, cruising on the highway at kmph isn't much of a big deal but of course, don't go crazy and you'll be fine. Wear on these i'd assume are fine as well if you swap between track and daily alignments.
As i had a string of trackdays, i made the mistake of leaving a rather aggressive track alignment on and yet, they lasted a 6 months on a combo of daily driving and track work. For the Track: In terms of outright grip, they're great. Comparable to the RRs and anything else in the upper echelon of street-legal performance tyres, if not better. They let go very progressively and you'll hear they screech long before they give-up on you. One complaint i have tho, is feedback. Perhaps it's the specific alignment i'm running or some weird steering geometry at play but they feel numb.
Going straight, mid-corner, on full lock, on breaking, they just feel numb to me. Hence, if it's your first time out on them, it'll take you sometime to learn ther limit as you'll have to go off your other senses to determined whether or not you're gonna implant yourself into that wall out of turn
